The fuel efficiency rating will also range from A to E. Models with an A rating will offer lower rolling resistance and excellent mileage. Tyres with an E rating will deliver poor fuel efficiency.
Noise emission
According to the latest guidelines, the noise emission rating on a tyre will have an ABC grade. The tyres with an A grade will emit the least external noise, while those with a B grade will emit the most external noise. Models with a C noise emission grade are entirely banned.
